I prefer the mp3 site but it takes a few days to release a song and they automatically encode in wma format too without my approval.
Soundclick on the other hand use flash to play mp3 files. Does it sound as bad for you? I can hear the upper part of the mid frequencies cause noise now and then.
Fun to listen to. I like the space you created with the different zones for different parts of the music. It was fun trying to guess where the sounds would come from next.
Use FLAC + OGG and distribute them freely. Be a pioneer and embrace these freedom-loving formats but have a MP3 version too. Could you host your three songs here?
Is there some way I could host them for you? I am interested in creating Free Culture Publishers, LLC, to help distribute music and media of artists and creative people who want to spread their work freely. Freely as in Linux. No bullshit like Flash is necessary unless you choose to put it up on your page. I’m up for whatever you are up for. Just keep it your style and do what you want, not what people tell you to. That’s why you’re the artist!

Host them where? Why? Your little brother? I can’t see the connection.
The only reason I uploaded the songs at the two site was to get a little feedback, comments on it.
I know it’s experimental, exotic, but intentionally so.
Imagine a spaceship going up from Earth, you hear the thunder echoing in the two speakers. When it reaches empty space dark pads with lots of reverberation start, oscillating in stereo to illustrate the immenseness of space. Voices speaking as from aliens, asteroids crashing into each other.....
The possibilities with synthesizers is as immense as space.
What do you mean with “fun”?
Flash sucks on the Mac, the noise generated by it destroys the songs entirely. I think I’ll ditch Soundclick.
But Flash itself does not generate noise. You can set .mp3 bitrate to whatever you want when you publish in Flash. The default bitrate is very low and sounds terrible but it doesn’t have to be.

I’m listening to your tune. All I said was that I’d try to help you make your tune spread. I like it. So let’s spread it by word of mouth.
My brother is a drummer and I want to do the same “promotion” for him as well.

I believe you are right but I don’t have the option to choose a faster bit-rate, that costs money unfortunately.
Go to http://www.kraftwerk.com , they use flash to present their work.
Listen to a few of the short tunes.
I think it sounds a little better but not much.
Yes, but you’re right it’s not as good as it could be. That would be the site designer’s choice. I don’t like compressed music of any kind. Many site designers choose compression in Flash to be so great that the result is just plain horrible. Flash can play .mp3 at a much higher bitrate though. I think most designers choose to have the tune load quickly at the expense of quality.
I have one of his singles, “Children”, and think it’s more typical for his style of music: Dance and entertainment for the masses.
I’ve listened to “23 am” too and it’s still entertaining and his use of synthesizers and use of electronic rhythms is easy to listen too, but does not belong to the same world of artists as the ones I mentioned.
“23 am” contains all the standard sounds which can be expected to be available in the factory presets of any commercially available synthesizer, why I think that Mr. Miles is not a synthesizer wizard - just another artist trying to earn a buck or two.

I finally found out what was causing the problem.
It’s the Audio out format, which should be 44100 Hz and nothing else for Flash to sound the best.
I use Audacity because it’s free and because it’s a great tool to give my music that final touch (e.g. normalizing and amplification), it’s great for removing the noise in the music I’ve sampled from my old tapes.
It insists on setting the Audio out format to 96000 Hz though and that’s worse, Flash will not play at all then.
The solution is to start /Applications/Utilities/Audio MIDI Setup.app and change that Audio out format to 44100 Hz.
An even simpler way is to start Garageband which apparently does the same thing.
Everything else will continue to play even at 96000 Hz, it’s only Flash which stops working. Crappy Flash, and Audacity is badly designed for OS X. I’ll continue to use Audacity though because it’s a great tool.
