I predict that Apple will settle on 64-bit Intel processors ASAP (with FireWire 800 please), and at that time will announce a product similar to Boot Camp to allow OS X to run on bog-standard 32-bit PC hardware, turning the Boot Camp relationship on its head and trying to sell $99 copies of OS X to 100 million or so Windows owners.
It would be pretty cool, Windows just doesn’t seem very rugged with my use and I bet OSX is, I would buy it as soon as I could. I doubt it would happen though
The forum is jacked again too, the “New Topic” and “Post Reply” and “New Post” buttons don’t actually do anything, you have to look at the source and enter the URL for those buttons manually.
What browser are you having problems with? Both Opera 8.5 and Internet Explorer 7 have that problem, but Firefox 1.6 doesn’t.
There are to things that attract me to OS X: eye candy, and media center features. Vista has both, though I may buy OS X if it comes out for regular PCs.
I want a system with good library of commercial apps should I need them that doesn’t go to crap after a few weeks of heavy use, I belive OSX may provide this.
