All I hear is a hum.  Not a normal hum.  RCA (to 3.5mm) or toslink.  NOTHING

Are they really dead?  My iMac is working fine...and to test whether my iMac’s audio out port is dead I hooked up headphones and they work great.

If they’re dead what do I do with them?

They seem to use standard wires...maybe i should hook them up to my den TV’s receiver as a test...i’ll try that when my dad gets home.
