WiMP does that stuff, it’s kinda pointless to use that if the OS comes with that functionality built in.

Yeah, it sure looks like one!

I agree.  The greyish top of the screen matches the metal iTunes look.  It’s cool that iTunes is inspiring 3rd-parties to match its interface.  This helps connect the two software programs sub-consciously, although it makes you wonder what brushed metal in general should imply?  Why is it in iLife, Safari, and Finder?

Edit: And if you like the metal look check out WindowBlinds for Windows 9x/XP.
