My iPod nano died when I walked back to the dorm from my physics class. So I went back to Wal-Mart to get a replacement and that’s when the fun began. It took five people to do the exchange. Had I just returned it it probably would have gone faster, but I’m too demanding, I though the nano was great while it worked and I wanted more of that, so I was persistent in getting the exchange. It took half an hour for them to just cash out after the return and treat the whole thing like a new purchase. Apparently all this happened because I bought the $17.95 two year replacement plan, which I got for situations just like this. Well… I’m glad I got a working nano. But Wal-Mart isn’t earning any points for itself.
