It is having 5-color ink system, you can quickly produce spectacular, long-lasting photos with borderless edges—from credit-card size up to 8.5” x 11"--along with bold, laser-quality text. It allows to print text or photos.

I recently picked up a Canon Pixma ip3000 myself, which, while only using 4 ink colors, is a very solid performer.  It can create some beautiful color photographs, as well as quite clean, sharp text; I’ve been using it to make proofs of the book, and so on.  Overall, I’m quite pleased.
