So, EllisLab is having a Photoshop contest where the prize is 3 copies of their upcoming Multiple Site Manager. I figured I’d throw in with them and have a go at the contest, so here are my entries. All of these are completely original from my head, without having seen anybody else’s entries. All ideas came to me pretty quickly.
This first took me about 2 minutes to do, not really much going on here…
The second took between 5 and 10 minutes. I got the bottle image from AbsolutAds.com and I left their URL in the image so I (hopefully) don’t get in trouble, though I could have easily removed it. This would make a good magazine ad campaign, I think.
The third one took me over 4 hours of masking, duplicating layers, fiddling with color settings, and dumping some ideas in favor of others. I also found it useful to install the Eye Candy Nature demo for the smoke and fire. This just goes to show how cool Rick is, though, especially in the face of Armageddon. BTW, that is one bitchin’ ride.
