can I move the hard drive from a Imac to a g5 tower?

My Imac is acting up… and I am on deadline.
Can I move the hard drive to my g5 tower, replacing the towers main drive, and have the system work???

Actually, yes. I’ve done this myself, and it works just fine, as long as you’re starting with an iMac G5 and not a G4 or Intel-based computer.
