Good news for PC users! With the launch of Windows Vista, Novell will start really pushing Linux. How you ask? They have opened up SuSE and called it OpenSUSE, you now get the professional version with all the gizmos for free. They are even mirroring their old 9.3 Professional. You can also experiment with the release candidates of SuSE 10, which should be officially released for free some time in October.
You will still be able to get it in stores too.*
*if you must, or if you want support
("The retail edition of SUSE Linux 10.0 offers end users the security and convenience of a Linux distribution complete with installable media, printed end-user manuals and 90 days of installation support.")
