A day at Macworld

Here’s some of the best and worst of MWSF 2005.

Coolest Apple product: Without a doubt, Mac mini. Small, affordable, flat-out awesome. iWant.

Coolest non-Apple product: iPort, an iPod dock of sorts installed directly into the wall. The iPod is placed in the dock (which is recessed into the wall) and is controlled by a switch. iPodYourHouse, anyone?

Worst Apple product: Tiger’s Mail.app — feature-wise it’s impressive but it looks horrible.

Worst non-Apple product: On-site food. Over eight dollars for a sandwich?

Best moment: During an Apple demonstration, the presenter made an obvious Strong Bad reference (hint: it had to do with boxing gloves).

A close second: It didn’t rain.

Not-so-good 1: My iBook decided to pick yesterday as the day it stopped working.

Not-so-good 2: I somehow managed to miss meeting Rosyna Keller of Unsanity.
