Apple releases new Power Macs, cuts display pricing

As rumors have suggested, Apple has released new Power Mac G5s up to dual 2.7 GHz and include larger hard drives, improved graphics capabilities, and dual-layer 16x SuperDrives. Prices range from $1499 US for the single 1.8 GHz model to $2999 US for the top-of-the-line model.

Also, Apple has trimmed the prices of its displays. A 20-inch display now starts at $799 US.
