Are Apple Leather Jackets Next?
I am a vegetarian and I have an iPod plus a nice woven iPod sock. Then there’s the iPod leather case that come out twenty minutes ago.
Why?
Yes, it’s got a solid design on paper as far as how it keeps the iPod in place and every case should work that way. Why not use faux leather? If they had a real disclaimer that said the cows used died naturally I’d consider it some day.

You have the same mentality that Rigo has. He’s always yelling at me when I eat a piece of meat. He recently decided that he wasn’t gonna wear anything leather either. He was, however, still gonna wear the lether things he already own, just not buy anything new. So far he’s kept up with that. I think it is a lot of work to become a vegetarian if you have grown up on eating meat. That is why I don’t do it.
Also I find that sock thing for your ipod very interesting.
People eat meat, you’re not going to change that. It’s the primal nature of man, and its still a necessary trait. If you were stuck in the wilderness, food from an animal would probably be the safest thing to eat (after cooking of course, building a fire should be at the very top of your list of things to do), many poisenous plants, eating mushrooms is a monumentally stupid thing to do (unless you WANT to die a slow painful death).

I agree with Joanna. Going vegetarian is lot of work especially if you have grown up on eating meat.

While you are vegeterian,
companies are not.
I can’t find non-real-leather “leather jackets” for my motorcycle unless I went looking specifically for it.
For apple to have non-real-leather “leather cases” is asking too much.
I’m a Buddhist and I don’t wear animal skins if I can help it, but sometimes it’s damned hard to find alternatives.
Just simply don’t buy it. Look elsewhere for a non-leather case.
