Cherry OS now available
The much criticised Cherry OS is now available for purchase at $49.95. When first announce it was surrounded by the controversy that it stole code from the open source Pear PC emulator. It also claims that it supports networking and sound on the main page, but then says in the release notes that these functions aren’t in the current version.
Cherry OS requires at least a 1.6GHz processor, 512MB Ram and 5GB Hard disk space.

I’ve installed the demo, and have so far been unsuccessful in getting it to ever start the OS X installation. Always coming back with an error in my profile. I’ve tried a few different profile settings with no luck.
1st I figured my PC could not read Mac CDs, ok, so I Mac/PC CD with Toast with the same contents. Ok, now the PC CAN read it. But Cherry OS comes back with the same problem with my profile.
Argh!!!
Anyone have any luck getting anywhere with it?
