Free iMacs for DTK owners
Developers who bought a Developer Transition Kit can now exchange it with a brand new iMac for free. I guess this is Apple giving a bit back to developers for all the work they’ve done trying to get their apps Intel ready as the iMac costs $1299 but the DTKs cost $999

Even better, the $999 for a DTK was for a lease. They will be returned to Apple by the end of 2006. Developers will own the iMac received in exchange for a DTK.
