Geckos and Konquerors on Safari

I read an interesting blog article asserting that Apple made a mistake going with KHTML instead of Gecko. A lot of the article, though, seems to deal with the feature set of Firefox, not the merits of the rendering engines. Don’t get me wrong, Firefox is a great browser. But there are a few reasons why I have no plans to give up Safari for it anytime soon:
-Safari is a true Mac application, not an app dolled up just to look like one and doesn’t fully conform to the Mac UI standards. Camino does, however.
-The Safari bookmarks manager. Enough said. I never use the Bookmarks menu anymore.
-Launch time is a good deal quicker.
-Every site I visit renders fine in Safari. So long as this is the case, I have no need to use anything else.
