Group of Mac developers to donate proceeds to charity December 7

From the “Tis-the-season” desk…

A group of 12 Mac software developers will be donating the proceeds from all sales on December 7 to Seattle-based charity Child’s Play. Child’s Play is a charity that was founded by the guys over at Penny Arcade, and donates games and toys to a number of children’s hospitals throughout the United States, Australia, and Egypt. Since its inception in 2003, Child’s Play has donated over $1 million in games, toys, books, and cash.

Developers taking part include Clickable Bliss, Flying Meat, Mere Mortal Software, and nine other independent Mac developers. A complete list of participating developers can be found here. Donations can also be made directly through the Child’s Play web site.

Awesome. If you have been planning to buy any of their software, tomorrow would be the day to do so.
