With the introduction of the new Intel Core based Macs, it appears that most of the Apple computers are getting a name change.

I posted this before elsewhere, but here are my predictions…

Pro Desktop : Mac Pro
Consumer Desktop : iMac (no change)
Budget Desktop : Mac mini (no change)
Pro Notebook : Mac Book Pro
Consumer Notebook : Mac Mobile or Mac Book

If the Consumer Notebook is named “Mac Book” then there might be a new Mac coming to be named “Mac Mobile” - maybe a portable version of the iMac? A tablet?
