We are continuing our watch of Tiger news around the Mac web. Our latest find is MacMove’s “Tiger(P)Review.” Today, they look into Tiger’s Parental Controls.

Now, this isn’t particularly new; Panther lets you make most of these settings, too. But, Tiger takes this idea further. You can define a white-list of email users, people who you trust, in advance to send email to your kids. If someone else sends Sally a note, she doesn’t see it until you approve it. The same idea can be applied to iChat, so, for example, you can control not only who your kids chat with, but who can see that they’re even online.
