RSS, Page Views & Cocoa
Well, as you can see from the news on the front page I have finally got round to adding the RSS feeds for Deep Thought. Took me a while but I forgot to do it. Wiping the database distracted me a bit
.
In other news, I checked the stats for the server today. Since December the first all the sites on the server have got a massive (for us) 57,885 page views. Over 10,000 of those were the deep thought site itself and over 18,000 were the forum index page. That leaves about 30,000 page views for about 5 other sites on my server plus any extra’s for deep thought that have been missed. We have been getting about 5000 page views a day since last friday (10th of December) and if we carry on like we are doing we could reach 100,000 page views for the whole of December, so keep reading.
And now for something that isn’t Deep Thought related. I am porting an app to OSX from PC called iStory Creator. I have been working on it since June and have had next to no success with it. I managed to scrape together a beta with lots of help from my friends. Though in about 8 hours today I have managed to rewrite it and get further than I have got before, with no help from my friends. I feel really proud of myself. I just have one more major feature to implement, and I just know that it is going to bugger up the whole thing somehow. Oh well, that’s life.

Page Views matter for advertising
We have had about 3000 unique visitors this month according to the stats

1.
Remember… it’s not page views that really matters, it’s unique visitors.
