MC Brown of The Apple Blog has written an article about whether Tiger lives up to the hype Apple made about Tiger:

OK, some things are faster. Some things look different and there are some minor improvements and fixes for things that annoyed me (hey, account-specific signatures). Thereís even some really cute eye candy (Dashboard). But I somehow donít feel completely bowled over.

For 90% of what I do, nothing has changed. It looks different, but I donít see any of it making any significant difference to the way I work.

Deep Thought’s take:Needless to say, the commentary in the article will not apply to everyone, as everyone’s needs are different. If you are still deciding on whether to upgrade to Tiger, I would recommend reading as many opinions about it as possible, trying it out, then make a decision.
