journal: think

Welcome to the New Deep Thought

Well, this is it. This is the result of over three months of brainstorming, testing, refomulating, tweaking, coding, and designing. We hope you like it.

Here’s a quick rundown of what’s new:

  • New Forum: fully integrated into the rest of the site
  • RSS feeds that, you know, actually work properly.
  • News submission form: send us any newsworthy tidbits you find.
  • Headlines/Summary toggle for the news section: now you can choose between viewing headlines or the article itself.
  • Features previews: the home page displays previews of the three most recent features and blogs
  • More feature articles: We now do interviews and tutorials along with reviews. We have a review up; expect some tutorials soon.
  • Search: we now have full search capabilities implemented on the site. Hooray!
  • Fresh design: it’s cleaner, it’s brighter; we like it.
  • A ton of extra little touches.
  • Mac and PC sites have been merged. This is primarily to reduce maitenence and gain more exposure for our PC bloggers, who have been overshadowed by the Mac site.

If you have any comments, either post a comment below or visit our Site Feedback forum.

Have a look around and enjoy!
