Policies Regarding Product Reviews, Geek Toys, and Other Products

Typically we choose products that we enjoy or find useful or otherwise worth reviewing to serve as subjects for review or to feature as a Geek Toy of the Week. Reviews and the Geek Toy of the Week feature are strictly informational and are not necessarily intended to serve as an endorsement or advertisement of a particular product.

If you are a developer or manufacturer and would like for us to review your product, please do not hesitate to contact us. We do accept free copies of software for evaluation purposes, if you so wish to provide such copies. However, just because you give us the software for free does not mean we will give your product a high score (translation: bribery won’t work).  Free software licenses become the property of whomever they are granted to under and conditions set forth beforehand (e.g. evaluation purposes only, free to distribute, etc.) and can not be rescinded, and the terms under which they were granted may not be modified ex post facto.

Retractions and Corrections

Email Editor in Chief Nick Mediati or Senior Administrator Joseph Bermann with the error, the correction, and any sources for the correction. Thank you in advance.
